The following Board of Education Director seats will be voted upon at the November 7, 2023 school board election. Candidates for Director Districts #3 and #4 must reside within the boundaries of the respective director districts.

Director, At-Large: incumbent Larry Banowetz
Director District #3: incumbent Jay Ganzer
Director District #4: incumbent James Knoche

Required number of signatures on nomination petition(s):
Director, At-Large candidates: minimum of 19 signatures from any person eligible to vote in the entire Calamus Wheatland District
Director District #3 candidates: minimum of 10 signatures from any person eligible to vote that resides within the borders of Director District #3
Director District #4 candidates: minimum of 10 signatures from any person eligible to vote that resides within the borders of Director District #4
Candidates for school board may print off the required paperwork from the links shared above, may visit the Iowa Secretary of State's website here, may obtain from the Clinton County Auditor, or may obtain the paperwork from the board secretary's office at the Wheatland address listed above.
The Calamus Wheatland map of the Director Districts is linked below. The Board of Directors voted during the December 19, 2022 regular meeting to adopt the resolution authorizing the boundary changes to the Director District borders. The change was due to the latest US Census to align the districts with an equal share of residents in each district.
