Dear Warriors,
On behalf of the staff at Calamus-Wheatland Community School District, I’m happy to welcome you to the 2023-2024 school year! We are looking forward to a productive year and working to make sure all of our students achieve at their highest potential. The last few days the buildings have been busy and filled with staff preparing for the start of the school year. It was great to see all of our students back today!
A shout out to our custodial staff who have our buildings and campuses looking great, and our staff and administration who have been busy all summer preparing for this year.
It is an honor to welcome our new staff to Calamus-Wheatland (in no particular order): Mrs. Taylor Spain - School Nurse and Health Occupations, Mrs. Grace Oldsen - Elementary School Counselor, Mrs. Dawn O’ Connor - 5th Grade, Ms. Sara Fauser - 6th Grade, Mrs. Penny Jacobi - 4th Grade, Mrs. Alyssa Grau - Elementary Associate, Ms. Addie Luepker, - Elementary Associate, Ms. Laura Roberts - High School English, Mrs. Kim Hill - Secondary Associate, Mr. Ron Higbee - Elementary Custodian (started January 2023) and Mrs. Dana Goerdt - Secondary Associate (started November 2022).

The strength of the C-W district is its tremendous community support, whether there are good times or bad. It is a pleasure to work in a district that values education.
