Calamus Wheatland School Board Elections November 4, 2025
Calamus Wheatland CSD Board of Education has four (4) Board of Director seats up for election this fall. The election will be held on November 4th. There are two (2) At-Large Director seats and two (2) specific Director District seats up for election and all seats are for 4-year terms. The filing period for election candidates begins Monday, August 25, 2025 and runs through 5:00pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025.

Candidate nomination papers may be obtained from various sources, including the board secretary’s office (links below), the county auditor’s office and the secretary of state website https://sos.iowa.gov/school-elections.
At-Large Director nomination papers require at least 18 signatures. The specific Director District #1 and Director District #2 nomination papers require at least 10 signatures. All school nomination papers must be filed with the respective school board secretary (or designee) no later than 5:00pm on Thursday, September 18, 2025. School and City elections will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025 with polls open from 7:00am – 8:00pm.
Director District #1 and Director District #2 have residence requirements. To be eligible to run for these seats, the candidate must live in the areas that are marked as District #1 or District #2. Please see the map to verify if you live within the director district boundaries. At-Large Director candidates may reside anywhere within the Calamus Wheatland CSD boundaries.
