Student must be 14 years of age and have their Iowa Instruction Permit to register.
Class May 26 - June 13, 2020
Cost: $370 or $222/free with free or reduced waiver on file with the district

Calamus Wheatland National Honor Society visited numerous places in Calamus and Wheatland on Wednesday caroling and delivering cookies.#go warriors


Advanced chemistry class worked on organic extraction. They extracted cholesterol from egg yolks as well as limonene from orange peels. It takes the peels of about 40000 oranges to get a pint of the limonene. Limonene is used in air fresheners and cleaners. #go warriors.

Christmas fun at the Elementary!#gowarriors

The Calamus Wheatland Community School District is looking for an outside entity/entrepreneur to run a before/after school program at the elementary school in Calamus. Beginning date would be for the 2020/21 school year, or before if possible.
Possible hours:
Mon-Fri: 6:30am-8:00am and 3:15pm-5:30pm or negotiable
This outside entity would be responsible for payroll and staffing and must meet DHS requirements. District would provide utilities/janitorial service in-kind and low-cost rental of facility.

In the fall Mrs. Oliver's third grade class wrote letters to Recruit, Michaela Kircher while she was in boot camp. Today Micheala made a stop to visit with the third graders.#gowarriors
