Mrs. Luepker's Foundations of Business students have been learning about different business models. They researched and created their own subscription boxes along with models to show what they would look like.



The Class of 2025 served a luncheon for the secondary teachers today, which served as a fundraiser for their senior trip. Thank you for giving the teachers an easy lunch option, Seniors!

Parents of elementary students, when you go to your conferences today or tomorrow FCCLA will provide child care to CW students in the elementary library.

College Biology genetic diversity and data collection:
Each student has five chicks of different breeds and will gather data on: feed & water inputs, waste outputs & monitor weight . After 3 weeks the students then share data and compile charts showing differences.

Registered voters can now cast an absentee ballot in person at their county auditor’s office.
This option will remain available until Monday, November 4. Voting is available weekdays during regular business hours and a valid ID is required.
➡️For Clinton County residents, the auditor’s office is located at 1900 N. 3rd St., in Clinton.
➡️For those who reside in Scott County, voting is available at 600 W. 4th St., in Davenport.
A $7.5 million bond referendum for Calamus-Wheatland CSD will be on the ballot. If it’s approved, these funds would address facility needs in both our communities and provide more resources for students.

Did you know that reading for 20 minutes a night exposes students to 1.8 million words a year? Family Literacy Night was a success here at the elementary! Thank you to all of our families that took part in the fun!











Simba’s Dog Palace Food Truck will be at the high school in Wheatland from 4-7 PM on Tuesday, October 29th. This a fund raiser for the Junior Class to help pay for prom. Stop by for a meal during conferences and support the Class of 2026.

Welcome the Calamus Wheatland FFA 2024 Ag Issues team back from National Convention today! Arriving around 4-5:00pm.
Arriving in Calamus, then through Wheatland, ending at the HS.
Ag Issues made the Top 16 in the Nation! That’s a huge accomplishment! Let’s celebrate them!


This week Elise Brown and Haley Green participated in Capri's Career Day. Students were able to see all education options offered at Capri, while having current Capri students practice their skills on them. Thanks to Capri for hosting a wonderful event! #gowarriors



Tri-Rivers Conference Junior High Band Festival yesterday at North Cedar. Students played four songs with nearly 100 other JH students from our conference, under the direction of Mrs. Jane Triplett.
