Mrs. Luepker's Employment Strategy students dressed up today so they could participate in mock interviews. After they have all gone through the interview process, one lucky student will be chosen to be "hired" for their position. Results will be shared next week.

Lauren Schroeder was one of 4 finalists in the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Awards and received a $10,000 scholarship for college. Earlier she received $1,500 as one of 15 semifinalists.

Four students represented Cal-Wheat at the Northeast Iowa Bandmasters Association district honor band on Saturday. Students involved were high schoolers Sarah Forret, Alex Rickertsen, and Macailah Jacobsen, and junior high student Braydon Bimm.

Hall of Fame induction was held on Saturday, December 7th. It was a great afternoon honoring the Class of 2024! Each inductee was introduced between the varsity basketball games and a small reception with inductee speeches was held later in the day.

You may notice additional emergency vehicles at the elementary building during this time. You should not be alarmed.
