The two's room had a great day with their Christmas party today! It was PJ and movie day! They watched the grinch and loved it! They also made their own Christmas tree out of sugar cones, frosting, m&ms and sprinkles! They’re getting so excited for Christmas!!! #gowarriors
Cooper VanderHeiden and John Prachar were the two students "hired" based on their mock interviews last Friday for Mrs. Luepker's Employment Strats class. Congratulations to them both.
Last Friday, as part of the continuing career speaker series, Aaron Trenkamp from River Valley visited with JH/HS students. He shared with students his role as a salesman at River Valley and other job opportunities within the cooperative.

Cal-Wheat is hosting the TRC Large Group Speech contest on Sat, Jan 18 from 9-3. We are looking for volunteers to work as room chairs, timers, runners and in concessions. If you can volunteer, please email Ally Ziegenfuss at aziegenfuss@cal-wheat.net or call HS office 374-1292

Mrs. Luepker's Employment Strategy students dressed up today so they could participate in mock interviews. After they have all gone through the interview process, one lucky student will be chosen to be "hired" for their position. Results will be shared next week.

Lauren Schroeder was one of 4 finalists in the Herbert Hoover Uncommon Student Awards and received a $10,000 scholarship for college. Earlier she received $1,500 as one of 15 semifinalists.
