Cal-Wheat's first Senior Parking Spot Painting!! Seniors were able to purchase a parking spot with the proceeds going to our Warrior Store. Thank you to the seniors and their painting teams who helped paint their parking spots! It was a beautiful evening to be outdoors. 8th graders worked on their technical scientific writing skills when explaining how to make a PB&J. They found out it's not as easy as they thought!

Reminder- The railroad crossings in Calamus will both be close starting today and last until Wednesday at the earliest. The crossings at 190th Ave. east of town and at 158th Ave. west of town will still be open. Please note that bus times may be adjusted slightly.

Fist Bump Friday at the Elementary---Varsity Volleyball team#gowarriors!







Health class students created their "Life in a Shoebox". They worked on presentation skills as they explained how all aspects of health (physical, mental, social, and emotional) pertained to their own lives.



8th grade science students used their metric measuring skills to compete in the CW Metric Olympics.






Students in Foundations of Business class got up and moving to learn about economic activity - in particular wants vs. needs.



District vehicles are inspected by the Dept. of Education (DE) and Iowa State Patrol 2X/year. Thank you DE Inspector Joe Funk, Iowa State Trooper Hank, bus drivers and our local repair shops for keeping our vehicles running smoothly and safely for our Warriors.

One of the service projects members of the National Honor Society does is deliver bouquets of flowers to residents of the district. We hope that if you receive one it will brighten your day. We do this all fall until the flowers stop or frost comes.
