As part of the Marketing & Entrepreneurship class, students had to come up with a business idea and then promote it, as well as create a window display model to show what it would look like. Kalloway is shown with her print ad and model of her daycare.
Lena Hines, nominated by Mrs. Linville for outstanding work in Yearbook class, will attend the University of Iowa's Summer Journalism Workshop. Lena received a full-tuition scholarship for the Publication Leadership workshop at the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

The state track champions will be back in town around 10:00pm tonight and will be escorted through Calamus and Wheatland and end up at the high school. Please come out and welcome the girls home!

Our 6th Graders showcased their knowledge this morning during the Renaissance Festival. All of their hard work was shown today as they presented for students, staff and their families.
Summer band lessons are being scheduled! If you are interested, please reach out to Ms. Seedorff to schedule lessons for your child ASAP. She can be reached at bseedorff@cal-wheat.net or by phone at 563-374-1292. Lessons will take place in June and cost $10 per half hour.
