Calamus-Wheatland's next John Deere Welding Apprentice Chase Olson 70+ apprentices signed letters of intent at the QC Apprentice event. Gov. Reynolds signed the Iowa Registered Apprenticeship Act creating the Office of Apprenticeship within the Dept. of Workforce Development.

Mrs. Luepker's Financial Lit students got to enjoy the nice weather and learn about what affects various insurance premiums. They each received a characteristic and then moved to the type of insurance they thought was affected by that trait.Discussions were had about why that is.

We've had some openings in our Warrior Pride Cleanup day for the Wheatland and/or Toronto areas (including out of town). This is scheduled for Friday afternoon (May 12). The students can help with planting, yard work, painting, washing, etc. An adult must be present and you must provide supplies. Please call the high school office if you are interested 563-374-1292
