Golf meet update for today, April 28:
This afternoon's home golf meet vs East Buchanan has been postponed. There is currently not a rescheduled date, but that will be added when completed. Players will be contacted by Coach Tenley regarding today's practice.

Because of the huge success the Cal-Wheat Blood Drive was in February, Impact Life donated $307 to the Calamus Wheatland Education Foundation to be used as scholarship money. Thanks again for donating 57 units and for our 23 first time donors that day! #gowarriors

The Prom Grand March is scheduled to begin at 7:30pm at the Wheatland Community Hall. Students should be lined up by 7:15pm if you are taking part in the Grand March.
Family and friends are welcome to the Grand March and are asked to leave as soon as the march is completed.
Friday, Apr 29 is Operation Prom Afternoon activities will simulate an accident crash scene involving distracted driving. Local & county emergency vehicles will be responding with sirens etc to the simulation at the high school in the Activity Center parking lot.
7th grade STEM class has been programming LEGO Mindstorms robots. They will be competing in a robot battle or an obstacle course.

Each senior will be recognized for their post-secondary plans (college, trade school, military, apprenticeship, work force, etc).
The Calamus-Wheatland students are hosting the 2nd annual Warrior Pride Cleanup Day on May 13 from 1:00-3:00!! If you, a neighbor, or a business would benefit from some extra help with Spring Cleanup, the students would love to help you!! HS track meet update for tonight Monday, April 25:
Tonight's HS track meet at Northeast has been postponed to tomorrow, Tuesday, April 26 at Northeast, Goose Lake. Meet time is scheduled for 4:30pm. Plan on practice after school today.

JH Prom was a hit Friday night! The theme was NEON and 8th graders Mason Mohr & Haley Green were elected as JH Prom King & Queen! 7th graders Dalton Will & Madelinn Stutt were also elected as Prom Prince & Princess! Thank you to all of our chaperones and HS helpers! #gowarriors




Our 6th Grade Math Bee Team, Olevia Olson, Brynlee Letcher, Maranda Pewe, and Blake Trenkamp competed at the MBAEA in Bettendorf against 27 other teams. Our 2 alternates were Whitney VanBlaricome and Carter Henning. We finished the day with ice cream from Smilee's.#gowarriors

ISASP testing began today and our JH and HS students saw special messages of encouragement and inspiration from the elementary throughout the hallways and on their lockers! Thank you for the special messages and the great start to the day!

Friday's (4/22) Camanche Invitational golf meet at Clinton Valley Oaks Golf Club has been postponed due to the impending rain overnight and tomorrow morning. A make-up date is not known at this time.

Mrs. Luepker's Financial Lit class held a March Madness tournament using the ROI on various stocks. Makayli Sprague finished 2nd with Kellogg's. Megan Forret narrowly edged her to finish first with WalMart. Congratulations!
