The 8th graders visited the Career Advancement Center in DeWitt to learn more about an opportunity to take classes in one of the six academies that are offered. This will help them plan when completing their four year plans and selecting their classes.

The Storm hockey game the 3-6th students were planning on attending today, start time got moved back. This means our students are still able to go! We will leave the elementary at 10:15 and return very close to the end of the day. All things stay the same just time moves slightly back. Any question please call the elementary office.
Warrior Early Learning Center will open 2 hours late tomorrow, February 5th, due to weather conditions.
Notice: Calamus/Wheatland will have a 2-hour late start tomorrow, Thursday, February 6, 2025. No morning preschool class.

The beginning of the year is a great time for cleaning out and decluttering! If you have gently used items, the Elementary and High School Warrior Stores are always accepting donations of new or gently used items for our students to purchase.
Suggested donation items include Dollar Store toys, Happy Meal toys, stuffed animals, games, puzzles, playing cards, soaps, lotions, Matchbox cars, Warrior clothing, nail polish, fidgets, trinkets, snacks, candy, and more.

Calamus Wheatland asking voters to increase PPEL levy at special election on March 4th.
Approval will increase the PPEL and lower the overall tax levy rate, giving the district PPEL funding for infrastructure needs.

After week 1 of our Kids Heart Challenge our Warriors are 30% of the way to hitting our goal of $5,000! So far we have 32 students signed up online with 5 of those students finishing Finn's Mission! We now have 10 days left in our Challenge. Keep showing your heart Warriors!
