Connect 4!! Algebra 1 students played a game of Connect 4 to practice adding, subtracting and multiplying polynomials. Students worked hard to get the correct answers so they could try to get four in a row, or try to block other teams from getting four in a row.

Calamus-Wheatland is now taking names for the 2020-2021 4 year old preschool class. Students must be 4 before the September 15th deadline. For the 2020-2021 school year, the district is tentatively planning on adding an additional wrap around program for preschoolers. This wrap around program will be an additional monthly cost for parents. Please contact the elementary school, 563-246-2221, to get your child's name on the preschool list for the upcoming school year. Calamus-Wheatland Kindergarten round-up will be held March 6, 2020. If your son/daughter is not currently enrolled in preschool in the district, please contact the elementary school, 563-246-2221, to sign up.

Community Cafe Meals Jan 24 - May 15th
On Thursday, January 23, from 6-8 PM, at Calamus-Wheatland High School, we will be having our 10th session of the Parent Education Series. “Hidden in Plain Sight”. This session will give adults insights into youth substance abuse, drug paraphernalia, and concealment of illicit drugs and alcohol. This is a great presentation for adults to see what common trends are happening among youth in their communities. All sessions are free and open to all adults who influence teens including parents, grandparents, teachers, coalition, and others, Childcare and light refreshments are provided. All sessions have been approved for foster parent credit.
