The district is accepting applications for an Activity Center custodian. Estimated duties include: Two hours per day M-F plus any duties for hosted events. General cleaning of weight room, commons area, bathrooms/locker rooms, gym, sidewalk snow during events, etc. During/after hosted events responsible for upkeep and clean-up. Updated parking information for the Mt. Vernon cross country meet tomorrow (8/27). Map "Turn Around" area - can now use as parking lot - as many parking spots as can in the "Parking" area AND "Turn Around." Student volunteers will be helping with parking as well.

Athletic Boosters fall high school sports kickoff... Mon, August 26, 5:30pm, high school gym - meet the teams and coaches Athletic Boosters meeting to follow the kick-off.

Reminder of the required meeting for students taking online college courses at 5pm today in Wheatland. Student and parent must attend. Meeting will be led by Eastern Iowa Community College. Students will receive all materials in order to start the online classes. #gowarriors
