Junior High students went on their Chicago field trip Friday. Students toured Wrigley Field and its' various seating areas, Press Box, visitors' locker room, and the Cubs' home dugout. Students also visited the Lincoln Park Zoo to see some of their favorite animals.

The After-Prom committee thanks everyone for the prize donations, food donations and to the volunteers that helped with the entire event this weekend.
The Class of 2020 would like to thank everyone who volunteered to help make "A Night in Paris" a success. Thank you to the Wheatland Community Hall for their hospitality, to Mr. VanBlaricome for allowing us to use his equipment for the music, to all of our chaperones - Bob and Holly Dwyer, Carrie Wells, and Tessa and April Cavey, to Mrs. Meyer for chaperoning and all her help, and to everyone who showed up for the Grand March to support the students.

Mrs. Forret's class celebrated DNA Day yesterday. DNA Day is celebrated because of the importance of identifying the shape of DNA back in 1953 and also for the completion of the Human Genome Project in 2003. These students have been learning all year long about the vital role DNA plays in so many parts of their lives. They might all have different DNA in their cells, but they all have Warrior blood running through their veins!

Linda McCann, author of Prisoners of War in Iowa, was guest speaker today at the Activity Center. Thank you, Linda! Her next appearance is at the DeWitt Library on Monday, April 29 @ 3 p.m. She will be in Clarence later that evening.
