Friday morning's are one of our favorite days at the elementary. We are looking for clubs, organizations, groups, businesses to take part in our Fist Bump Fridays. Please contact Mrs. Kelting, akelting@cal-wheat.net, or 563-246-2222 if you are interested in participating.
Mrs.Linville has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. In response, the CWEA is organizing a t-shirt fundraiser to support her and her family during this challenging time. We believe that with the help of our community, we can make a significant difference. You can help by purchasing a t-shirt for $20 or by spreading the word! Order forms will be available in the offices of both the Elementary and Secondary School buildings, and we ask that they be returned by September 16th. Your generosity and support mean a lot to Mrs.Linville and her family. Let’s show Mrs. Linville and her family what it means to be part of the Warrior Nation during this difficult time. Thank you!

The secondary building welcomed students back with the Games of the first CW Olympiad! We were so lucky to compete in the shadow of the great Wheatland Watertower! Events included:
- Lighting of the Olympic Torch
- Singing of the Anthem
- Table Tennis
- Fencing
- Archery
- Balance Beam
- Golf
- Equestrian (with a visit from Snoop Dogg & Martha Stewart)
- Relay Race
- Kayak Cross
- Swimming
- Synchronized Swimming
- Breakdancing (including a building wide dance party)
- Awards Ceremony

Reminder: Tomorrow, August 23, 2024 is the first day of school for BK-12th grade students and there is a scheduled 12:30pm dismissal for teacher inservice. #gocalwheat #gowarriors
Feels good to have our Warrior staff back in the building! We started with a delicious breakfast provided by Christian Free Lutheran Church. Next, we welcomed our new staff with a Warrior spirit tunnel. Then, Mr. Knoche got us inspired for our year ahead with our Warrior Family. Congrats to Mrs. Forret for winning our ultimate Rock, Paper, Scissors! Looking forward to seeing our Warrior students at Open House on Thursday from 4:00-6:00. #gowarriors

Pre-K had a blast celebrating a class goal of reading 400 books this summer and winning the Summer Reading Challenge at the WELC!
