Our 9th-12th grade students were able to attend a Think Fast Interactive Assembly yesterday! The engaging and interactive program covered relevant safety information pertaining to driver, passenger, and pedestrian safety. Students in Mrs. Luepker's room used free time this week to destress with these inspirational posters.
Mrs. Luepker took students to St. Ambrose to compete against 15 other schools in the JA Stock Market Competition. They had to work in groups to buy/sell stocks based on a variety of news events they were given.

Advanced Chemistry Tomato Juice Rainbow-
The class is learning how halogens remove double bonds. Bromine water is added to tomato paste and the double bonds in the lycopene are gradually removed leaving a rainbow of colors showing the steps in bond removal.
