Students in Employment Strategy class practiced their communication skills by explaining to their blindfolded partner how to put together a puzzle. Luke and Mason were the first to finish the task.
Financial Lit students participated in a scavenger hunt where they had to find the correct answer from a pay stub to know which station to move to next. In the end they learned about gross/net pay, required taxes, voluntary deductions, overtime pay and direct deposit.
Last week, four Warriors took advantage of the Kirkwood Community College Visit. Students were able to meet with admissions, listen to a student panel, and get a tour of campus, the rec center, apartments, and the diesel facility.

The Cal-Wheat Community Food Drive wrapped up this week, and students brought in over 1,500 pounds this year! This was an amazing contribution from our students and their families, and all items brought in benefit those in our local area!

The 2 year old room had a blast with their Halloween party! We got to explore the inside of a pumpkin, paint a pumpkin, and put on temporary Halloween tattoos! We also had a princess and kitten show up today!#littlewarriors
Tomorrow, Wednesday, November 1st is a scheduled 12:30pm early dismissal for staff professional development.

Junior high and high school students were able to pay Warrior Bucks for a chance to choose how Mr. Brown trimmed his beard. The winner was Grace Hipkins who chose a handlebar mustache! Thank you Mr. Brown for volunteering! #gowarriors
