Serenity Weston and Sadie Schumann attended the Dorian Orchestra Festival at Luther College on February 4th and 5th. They rehearsed Sunday afternoon and all day Monday, performing a concert on Monday evening under the direction of Dr. Juan Tony Guzman.

Thank you to Devin Hurdle and Ryan Powers who did Fist Bump Friday at the Elementary today and talked to some HS baseball players. Devin graduated from DeWitt, went to college @ University of Omaha, Nebraska. He was drafted last summer by the Texas Rangers as an infielder. Ryan Powers graduated from Cal-Wheat and went to college @ Wartburg College. He is a member of the Cal-Wheat Hall Fame. He is the hitting coach for the Kansas City Royals. You will find him coaching first base at the Quad City River Bandits this summer.#gowarriors
CW FCCLA is selling strawberries and meat bundles. Contact scoobs@cal-wheat.net if you would like a student to come sell to you. All money made will either go back to the community or to provide leadership experiences for student in our chapter. Strawberries are fresh from Florida and will be delivered the week of February 26th, and meat will be shortly after.
A HUGE shout out to our Warriors who helped with youth basketball last weekend. They assisted with the score tables, referring, concessions as well as the set up and clean up of the event.
