With the snow days this month, it has been difficult to have a full week of school. Even so, our Attendance Award Winners for Jan 3-Jan 26 have not missed any school so far this month. The American Heart Association’s Kids Heart Challenge kicks off today! Can you believe it? Start getting your stretches in now because we are gearing up for a few weeks of heart-pumping fun! Let's get out there and raise money for those with heart issues all while earning money for our PE program and earning fun rewards along the way! Let's get 97 students signed up for the KHC and if we raise $5000 towards others we get fun rewards like duct taping Coach Tenley to a wall! When 18 students or more finish Finn's Mission, Coach Tenley will get water balloons thrown at him. If you want to get a jump start, download the AHA Schools app tonight! Go Warriors!
On January 6th, 6 elementary students went to participate in the Elks Lodge Hoop Shoot at Davenport Central High School. Brandon Looney, Harper Schmidtke, Kayser Balichek, Carter Gray, Lanndon Buckner, and Shelby Taylor all competed well in their age groups! Most were just out of a top 3 place! Both Lanndon and Shelby placed 3rd in the boys and girls 12-13 year old. contest Great Job Warriors!
